COBRA and ERISA are two different things. Erisa is for pension funds. Cobra is for health insurance.

Erisa doesn't offer health insurance. Cobra doesn't offer pensions.

Cobra/health insurance is through a third party insurance company, subject to policy terms and conditions. Erisa/pension funds are usually held by, or invested by, the employer.

1) The PSP-Go is 249.99 New, a PSP 3000 is 169.99 New

2) It looks as though only the older PSP models can be hacked, so no to both the Go and 3000.

3) You can download games through a computer, a PS3, or the PSP itself.

4) Sony has not said anything about if your able to get your UMD's in digital form.

5) If you already own a PSP and have UMD games already, a 3000 would be your best bet, but for a new PSP owner the Go and the 3000 are about even. Budget minded consumer will want to go with the 3000 to save money.

There is currently no way to hack the PSP Go! Those people that did hack it will never release it, so in a sense it is hacked, but also not because it will never be released. Your idea won't work either, you can't just tell the PSP to install non Sony update files to the PSP. You can hack a regular PSP, though. As long as it is on firmware 5.03 or lower.

The PSP will always check the files and see if it has Sony's "Seal of Quality" on it. Just wait, they might get it eventually.

It's most likely due to the fact that your PSP has been 'modded'. Perhaps try flashing the PSP with a different firmware* that includes all the functions that you want or need.

Custom fireware is an application that people make to enable you to do certain things that you may or may not be able to do orginally. Hacking the PSP is a general question. Hacking could be considered as violating the ToA, using homebrew to play games your not suppose to, adding applications that were never there… just all the things that a PSP shouldn't be able to do and then some.

You need to downgrade your PSP to firmware 1.50 then upgrade a CUSTOM firmware like 3.90 M33 before you can play downloaded games.
You'll need a pandora's battery & magic memory stick to do this.

Depends on what you want. The psp go is a lot smaller, and you might find one more comfortable to play than the other. It will be about 250 or around that area, but they'll probally do a thing where you can turn in your 3000 for a discount. On the Go you download games off the internet using wifi or your ps3. There will be no thing to play umds. I'm getting the new go so i can fit it in my pocket and not carry games around.

It's an estimate, not the final numbers. If you get it correct to within $200 or so, that should be good enough. And they don't mind if you overpay, and ask for a refund later.

No, it is not what you're going to end up paying. It is the TOTAL tax liability, which includes what you have been paying (payroll withholding) during the year, plus what you might end up paying later. (or minus any refund.)

Not something you want to do. Folks in trouble are looking to avoid foreclosure by simply issuing you a quit claim deed to gain title to the house, and then allowing you to continue making THEIR mortgage payments.

The problem is that taking over someone else's mortgage thusly is not allowed by the lender without approval and refinance. Moreover, Form 1098, which provides evidence of interest paid for tax deduction, goes to the FORMER owner, and YOU cannot deduct it legally from taxes because you are not legally obligated to pay same.

If that's not bad enough, you MAY be taking over a mortgage for more than the house is worth. In other words, it IS too good to be true !

If you ever knew anyone who decided that they wanted to do this-be certain that you read everything closely and choose to make those payments DIRECTLY TO THE LENDER! So that you have the receipts showing that you were the one making those payments. I have had people here ask what do they do after having been making payments to the owner who apparently, never paid the bank. They trusted and while my first inclination is also to trust, it is NOT prudent to do so when you have the most to lose. If they can't make the payments then they don't have anything to lose! In effect if they don't make the payments, the bank is the new owner so even if they have "equity" it isn't giving them any benefit, is it? It can be easy but, be cautious. If I were to set this up I would want the buyer to prove they have paid the lender to the Seller (or get out of the property) I would probably as the seller ask them for at least 3 months of "rent" so that I had time to get someone else in the property if the "buyer" defaulted or didn't pay. As a buyer I would expect to make payments for at least a year before I went to the Lender and asked that the loan be transferred into my name with perhaps a lower interest rate? At that time they will have proof that you have paid and paid on time for over a year and that you are reliable and trustworthy so they should consider this arrangement with you. See? Good luck.

The majority of those ads are at best misleading and at worst outright scams. There are very few mortgages today that are assumable by a buyer. Even if it is assumable, you would still have to be approved by the lender as if you were applying for a new loan.

Some people will attempt to sell their home and have the buyer "take over" the payments. In most cases, this is in violation of the mortgage agreement–most mortgage loans have a "due on sale" clause that would require the loan be paid off. If the lender finds out, it could declare the loan in default and accelerate the payments. If the loan wasn't paid off, then the lender would foreclose.

You could do one of these deals but be aware you are in violation of the loan. However, if you later default, its not on your credit–it is still the credit of the original borrower.

Be very careful if you try to do one of these deals.
